{To Be Honest}

To be honest, I had completely forgotten about my blog until I was looking at my instagram page. A lot has happened since my last post. When I last posted I was still dabbling photography, a hobby I will always consider my first love, but as a creative person evolution is key. I had to lay aside my photography aspirations so that I could begin a new job, as a stylist and buyer for a boutique my mother opened. While I still anticipate to write and showcase some of the design work I do at our store, I also hope to share the journey that Christ is leading me on as a wife, new mother, daughter, and boss lady.

When I left Nashville, the hottest place to live nowadays. I had an EXTREMELY hard time facing the fact that God was calling me to move back home.  

I will say much like the Israelites journey into the wilderness, this is where I am doing some of my hard learning. Not getting what I wanted was the best thing God could ever have done for me. The acronym F.R.O.G. comes to mind when I ponder on this time in my life. 

I also want to be honest with anyone here, I am a sinful fallen human, who is doing her best to follow GOD. Somedays are better than others. I never want to claim to know more, or act better, or above anyone else reading this. I am just like you. I am a subpar wife, a struggling mom, a hard headed business owner and a fallen christian. Glad we have that out of the way so that learning comes a little easier to all of us.

{Results Fitness}

My great friend and trainer Josh Rogers and his partner LeAnn Fray recently opened Results Fitness on Music Row, a personal training studio. I was so excited when Josh asked me to take photos of his new place! If anyone is looking for a great trainer or a place to take classes that will get you in shape, Results Fitness is it!
